Indian Institute of Technology Madras is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research. In 1956, the German Government offered technical assistance for establishing an institute of higher education in engineering in India. The first Indo-German agreement in Bonn, West Germany for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras was signed in 1959.
Job Description :
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras),requires a Project Associate
1. Applications are invited for temporary post of PROJECT ASSOCIATE for the MHRD
2. Project on “National Centre for Safety of Heritage Structures (NCSHS)” in the Department of CIVIL ENGG.
3. The recruited project engineer will work with National Centre For Safety Of Heritage Structures (NCSHS) at iit madras.
Educational Qualification:
1. B.E/ B.Tech (CIVIL ENGG) or Equivalent Degree with 60% Or 6.5 CGPA.
Experience:
Candidates with experience in computer-based structural modeling and analysis of heritage/historical structures will be given preference. A short report on prior experience in this area should be attached to the application.
