Accordingly, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully operationalised two major satellite systems namely Indian National Satellites (INSAT) for communication services and Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites for management of natural resources; also, Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) for launching IRS type of satellites and Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) for launching INSAT type of satellites.

Scientist/Engineer SC – Civil/Electrical/A/c and Refrigeration:

• The candidate should have done BE/B.Tech/BSc (Engg)/Grad IETE/AMIE in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of marks of all semesters for which results are available).
• Candidates who are slated to complete their qualifying Degree in the academic year 2012-13 are also eligible to apply provided the final Degree is awarded latest by 31.08.2013.
