JOB SUMMARY:

Job Responsibilities :
1. Design and implementation of large scale, highly available, complex, distributed, production quality software
2. Debugging and troubleshooting real life problems at test and at customer sites
3. On the job learning and contributing to technology/domain related organization wide initiatives
Skills Requirements :
1. Way above average Programming skills and awareness, primarily C/C++ /Java (2 required out of 3)
2. Networking Should be a master of L2(Ethernet, VLAN, Bridges, STP) , L3(IP, IPv6, ARP, ICMP) , L4(TCP, UDP) concepts and network management (SNMP, XML, NMS, EMS) knowledge
3. Hands-on kernel programming skills with deep understanding of operating systems in general and Linux/FreeBSD in particular
4. Microprocessor/Network processor programming skills are an asset
5. Scripting (shell, TCL) Database technologies related knowledge and hands-on experience
6. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting capabilities of complex system and solution level problems
7. Motivated, self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal skills and strong problem solving skills
