Role and Responsibilities
• Build, customise, modify, maintain and augment existing Bhojanshala.in website as needed for front end as well as back end.
• Develop and continuously enhance website services and related applications and refactor existing business logic into reusable services.
• Custom code using Bootstrap, PHP, CSS & HTML.
• Creation of design mock-ups in Photoshop.
• Programming of web templates based on approved mock-ups.
• Manage multiple projects at once.

• Maintain source control standards for internal and external developers.
• Assist with customer inquiries and resolution of problems.
• Resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Web Application Development, IT, or CS.
Experience:
• At least 1 year of web developing experience preferred.
• “Smart & Creative” freshers can also apply, on the basis of required skills.
Essential Job Duties:
Preferred Skills
• Solid knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript/jQuery) desired.
• Familiarity with cross browser compatibility and content management systems would be a plus!
• Strong PHP 5.4+ skills and knowledge of PHP’s OOP principles.
• Well versed with JavaScript.
• Experienced with Responsive Design.
• Familiarity with front end frameworks such as Bootstrap and dynamic style sheets (LESS or SASS).
• Understands browser limitations and workarounds (specifically Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
• Design new features capable of handling thousands of requests/second.
• Experience using web frameworks.
• Experienced in designing and building Web Services, integrations with third parties through APIs.
• Experience with databases and systems.
• Able to take a page layout from Photoshop and convert to HTML and CSS.
• Able to design and build secure, scalable, reliable, and well-tuned web applications.
