Job Responsibilities
- Able to understand and predict the emergent behaviour of complex systems
- Evolve alerting strategies to ensure system stability and reliability is not compromised
- Ability to identify/ reason about the failure modes of the system designed
- Build Operational and Analytical Databases to store operations, system and application metrics
- Build User Interactive Dashboards to showcase digital metrics
- Leverage machine learning and statistics to measure and evolve service SLAs
Job Description
- Proficiency with Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
- Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, Scoop
- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Flume
- Experience with Tabluea, Kibana
- Experience with Big Data ML toolkits, such as Mahout, SparkML, or H2O
- Experience with Cloudera/MapR/Hortonworks
- Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming
