Job Description
Role: Associate Software Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
As part of a dynamic, agile Quality Assurance team, you would be a key contributor to testing Multiple Web and Mobile applications.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Understand the customer’s business processes and simulate end-user behavior.
- Work closely with the client to decide functional testing strategies.
- Support the multiple releases in the month
- Document any issues found in a bug tracking system with all pertinent details.
- Understand all components of the system architecture at a high level and isolate the components causing an issue, along with documentation of why you believe the issue can be isolated to the specific component.
- Develop the automated tests, API tests, load tests using tools such as Selenium Web driver, JMeter etc.
Candidate Must Have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with hands-on testing of Web and Mobile applications.
- Any programming/scripting Language/Tools experience like Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Selenium web driver, JMeter etc.
- Strong Analytical/Logical skills.
To Test Software Code as per work allocated within the quality standards prescribed so as to meet the client requirements.
- To assist in Test Case creation from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
- To coordinate with a team (for discussions) and interact with a client (for updates)
- To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases.
- To update test case execution status in the recording system and log defects
