Job Description

As a Data Scientist, you will evaluate and improve products. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts on a wide range of problems. This position will bring analytical rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of measuring quality, improving consumer products, and understanding the behavior of end-users, advertisers, and publishers. As a Data Scientist your responsibility will be (but not limited to) revolutionize search, routinely work on massive scalability and storage solutions, large-scale applications and entirely new platforms for developers. Understand business requirements to translate business problems into analytics problems and construct analysis road-map based on the business context

Responsibilities:

• Manage large volumes of structured and unstructured data, extract & clean data to make it amenable for analysis
• Analyze big data using statistics, econometrics, mathematics, operations research, and text mining techniques
• Develop good visualization to communicate business insights from analysis and make actionable recommendations
• Help deploy analytics solutions and enable tracking of business outcomes to measure return on investment
• Keep up with cutting-edge analytics techniques and tools in the continuously evolving area of decision science
  Client/Customer engagement & management
• Liaise with key stakeholders in understanding and identifying the business requirements and needs.
• Developing and implementing advanced analytics approaches including statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, text mining, regression, web analytics etc. to answer business questions and drive actionable insights.
• Perform Data cleansing/transformation, feature engineering, apply statistical analysis, data visualization and data mining
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, model validation, model implementation, and large-scale data analysis.

Skills

• Experience in handling various data types and structures: structured and unstructured data, static and streaming data, extensive prior experience in integrating data, profiling, validating and cleansing data
• Should possess extensive knowledge of and experience in applying data mining and machine learning techniques in a project context
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Regression, Time Series etc.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency of Python language in some kind of data analytics domain
  Experience of working on Machine learning projects using R / Python
• Strong Analytical skills
• Strong English communication and ability to articulate both technical and domain matters
• Deep knowledge of machine learning methods and applications
• Strong programming skills Desirables
