Job Description:

• We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
• Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to clean production code that will produce visual elements of the application.
• You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one JS framework such as React, Angular or Vue and an interface framework such as Bootstrap or Semantic UI is required. You should also know how to write automated tests for JavaScript.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Complete client side validations

Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations and adjustments regarding the use of new and emerging Web technologies

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• A strong visual and technical portfolio (link should be provided)
• 1-2 years of Front-end development (should be flexible to work in a startup environment)
• Strong ability to design interfaces keeping different kinds of end users in mind
• Proficient working knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Good knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, etc.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically Git
