Job Description:
1. Plans and conducts standard engineering assignments
2. Assignments can be a significant portion of a larger project
3. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems
4. Assesses results for applicability, validity and conformance to specifications
5. Assists in project planning and review
6. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
7. Assignments are reviewed for overall soundness and adherence to stated objectives.
Candidate Profile:
1. The candidate should have currently enrolled to a four-year technical degree or Master’s or PhD program, in chemical engineering/civil engineering/electrical engineering/mechanical engineering/mechatronics/petroleum engineering
a minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0
relevant work experience (paid or unpaid)
evidence of practical / technical capability, e.g. internships, summer jobs, hobbies
evidence of extra-curricular activity
2. Strong communication and presentation skills
3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software
4. Desire to learn new skills and take initiative in the learning process
5. Good problem solving skills with a drive for results
6. Ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently
7. Strong customer focus.
