Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established at Bangalore, India, by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence in 1954 to meet the specialised electronic needs of the Indian defence services. Candidate Profile:

Age limit: The upper age limit as on 1st April 2014 id 28 years

Application fee and mode of payment:
Candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to remit an amount of Rs.300/- towards application fee. SC candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates are required to download and print the bank challan from the website. The challan (in triplicate) is to be filled by the applicant and submitted to the nearest SBI Branch, along with an application fee of Rs. 300/- plus bank charges of Rs.25/-

How to apply:
The candidate is required to enter the details of the challan and the ‘Journal Number’ in the application form. On completion of the application form the same is to be submitted along with the, photocopies of required documents and the Company’s copy of the challan and may be sent by ‘Ordinary Post’, to Deputy Manager (HR/Central), Bharat Electronics Limited, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore 560 013. The last date for receipt of applications is 27th May 2014.

Note: Minimum % of marks: General / OBC candidates should have secured 60% marks (aggregate of all years / semesters) and above in ITI / Diploma and SC candidates should have secured minimum 50% marks. With respect to ITI the aggregate marks shall include marks secured in Apprenticeship training also. Registration with any of the Employment Exchanges in Karnataka is mandatory for the above posts. Knowledge of Kannada is essential.
