Job Responsibilities::
This position is for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) that will work on security products. The engineering team at McAfee is seeking a self-motivated Dev engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
1. Work closely with onsite and offsite engineering teams in a high intensity, high bandwidth environment
2. Work well with a remote development/QA team using your excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
3. Work well with mainline projects owning components and thus requiring less supervision
4. Design and implement test tools and jigs in C/C++, C#, or VB.NET
5. Utilize innovative test technologies? to develop product’s testing strategy
6. Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments.
Candidate Profile:
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Dev engineer with demonstrated ability in the following areas:
1. Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Java, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, Python, Perl
2. Strong verbal & written communication skills
3. Able to prioritize and complete concurrent projects
4. Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands
5. Strong self-motivation and the ability to work as a team member
6. BE or B.Tech . (preferably in Computer Science or related field)/ MCA
