Job Description

Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to

• Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET
• Create and deliver data-driven reports
• Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan
• Identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Create technical specifications and test plans
• Create new and extend existing operational documentation
• Consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks
• Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems
• Implement new software
• Systems analysis and design
• Integrate knowledge of business and customer requirements into design
• Coding for development, maintenance, and functionality updates
• Working with C#, SQL, MSSQL, and related development tools
• Testing new and existing applications
• Maximizing usability for end users
• System installation and maintenance
• Integrating new technologies into system design
• End user training and technical assistance
• On site and remote maintenance and troubleshooting
• Flexibility to work on both intranet and extranet design projects
• Creating well-written and understandable technical documentation
• Work with cross departmental teams
• Additional duties as needed
• Kannada and Marathi (Required)

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• MVC, SQL Server
• Object Oriented programming and design concepts
• JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, XML, AJAX, Web Services, Remoting knowledge in depth, MCAD / MCPD / MCTS certification would be an advantage
