Job Description:
The main goal of the project is to improve stability and usability of Fusion360. The product is developed for multiple platforms – Windows and MAC. The broads tasks involved in the project are –
1. Design and Prototype proof of concept work for Mechanical Design and Industrial Design workflows
2. Design and develop UI (User Interface) for functionalities
3. Do detail efficiency study of some workflows in the product and work towards improving it.
4. Do static (coding errors, cross platform compatibility, C++ standards compatibility, etc) and run-time analyzes (memory usage =aks, uninitialized reads, out of bounds access, etc) using tools to identify and build solutions for instabilities.
Candidate Profile:
1. Good programming in C++ is a must. Familiarity with Object Oriented Design and Analysis
2. Familiarity with CAD tools, geometry and Maths
3. Good understanding of Data Structures
4. Good understanding of Computer Science principles (pre-processing, compiling, linking, profiling, etc) as applied to Software Product Development
5. Excited to understand CAD and Fusion360 users and workflows, to enhance usability
6. Excellent ability to learn, adapt and deliver
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
