Job Role: Software Design Engineer
Job Summary :
Candidate Profile:
Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent
Proven track record of developing software solutions
Strong software skills and a solid background in C/C++, object-oriented design, general algorithms and data structures
Experience with embedded processors such as ARM
Experience with embedded Linux operating systems
Experience in HDL design on FPGA platforms is an advantage
Wired or wireless telecommunications experience is an advantage
Scripting language experience like Perl or TCL is an advantage
A self-starter and team player
Experience working with international sites and culturally diverse teams
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Job Description:
There is opening within the Xilinx Communications Design Center for software design engineer.
Responsibilities will include specification and development of Linux based embedded software for use in wired and wireless telecommunications products.
This will involve design, implementation and test of ARM based solutions on FPGA technology.
We are seeking a fast learning, dynamic engineer eager to develop their skills working with the latest FPGA technology.
