Job Role Testing Engineer

JOB Discribtion:

Excellent opportunity to be a part of a product based organization. We are looking for a Software Tester with experience of Manual and Automation testing.

Work location – Monday to Friday
Work timing – 10 am to 7 pm (Flexible)

Key responsibilities:-

Minimum 3-5 years of experience (at least 6 month in automation, using Selenium 2.0)
Understanding all requirements of a project.
Experience of testing in client/server as well web application
Knowledge of testing standards
A good eye over Manual Testing
Through understanding of different test stages (Component Testing, Acceptance Testing) & test activities (Planning, Specification, Execution)
Test management skills of Documentation standards (Test Plan, Test Condition, Test Cases, Test Procedures, and Test Summary Reports) Assist test lead during test planning.
Writing test scenarios for responsible modules and responsible testing topics by using “Black box techniques”.
Documenting test cases with required test data and test environment.
Involve in test cases review meeting along with the test lead.
Involve in smoke testing on initial software build.
Involve in defect reporting and tracking
Conduct Retesting, Sanity tests and Regression testing on every modified release to close bugs.
Strong in Web as well as Desktop application testing.
Involve in final regression testing on final test closure
Join with the developers to do acceptance testing to collect the feedback on software from the real customers / model customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
A strong problem solving skills needed
The ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail is a must
The ability to work in a team and individually
Organizational skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines
A passion for technology is a must.

Pre-requisites and skills required:-

Hands on experience in Manual & Automation (using Selenium 2.0)
Experience in SQL
Proven working experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Logical thinking / Analytical skills
