Below is the Job Description:

Position Description
To lead, manage and monitor test and development programs

Required Skills/Background
Has Advanced / Expert level of knowledge on testing strategies and approach
Ability to guide managers to create appropriate test Strategies/schedules/efforts based on project requirements
Ability to implement quantitative process measurement techniques
Experience in customer/vendor relationship management skills
Experience delivering projects in different engagement / delivery models
Extensive experience in managing quality delivery under budget and schedule constraints
Ensure client meets contractual obligations and obtain client sign-off for key milestones
Liaison with the various stake holder groups like operations support team and the client Manager’s team
Liaison with customer management in defining governance process and implementing the same
Escalate and track project progress/impediments
Evaluate new technologies, approach and tools available in the market and propose best fit solutions
Responsible for knowledge management, knowledge transfer within the team and training for the team members
Ensure optimal resource utilization across projects
Responsible for effective team communication.
Ensuring team adherence to quality standards/process and time schedules
Project level risk analysis and risk mitigation planning
Responsible for facilitating testing project process audits / certifications
Ensure key responsible areas are defined for the team members and timely feedback to all members
Maintain the Gross Margins target continuously monitoring the forecast and actuals
Ability to support response for RFPs by providing solutions and estimations
Experience: 15-17 years of IT Experience.

Education/Certification Required
Masters degree or equivalent (Equivalent to a 5+ year degree)

PREREQUISITE SKILLS
Technical test management experience in managing a team of 70+
Advanced Testing skills Manual testing, automation / performance testing
In depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Project management
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good consulting, communication, conflict management, convincing, presentation skills and Negotiation Skills
