Railway Recruitment Cell-Eastern Railway(RRC-ER)Kolkata is responsible to recruit eligible candiates from open market in pay band-I Rs. 5200-20200/ with Grade Pay 1800/ for Eastern Railway and Chittaranjan Loocomotive Works(CLW). The candidates are recruited on the basis of written examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test(PET) against any particular notification issued by RRC-ER as per guidelines issued by Railway Board.

Job Description:

Applications are hereby invited by Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Hubli for filling up through General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) 60 posts of Ticket Examiner in Pay Band ` 5200-20200 with Grade Pay` 1900/- from all the eligible regular serving Railway employees

Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualification:
1. 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.

2. 50% marks will not be insisted upon in the case of SC & ST Candidates

3. Candidates should posses the prescribed educational qualification (as indicated above) from recognized Board/University/Institute as on the date of Notification.

4. Those awaiting results of the final examination need NOT apply.

Age Limit:
1. The maximum age limit for appearing in the GDCE will be 42 years for General candidates, 45 years for OBC candidates and 47 for SC/ST candidates reckoned as on the date of notification.
