Job Description:

9. Working knowledge of typical telecom deployment services portfolio, including Engineering design, site surveys, installation, testing and network integration would be an asset
Candidate Profile:
Required Skills :
1. Interaction with geographically diverse teams (account, service sales leads, services product line and contract management) and coordination of timely delivery of quotes.
2. Interpretation of Bill of Materials, network diagram and customer requirements to develop an appropriately scoped quote for the required services
3. Coordination among several delivery teams to determine work estimates for custom requirements
4. Providing complete quote packages to account teams on time and with high quality, adhering to Ciena’s commercial guidelines
5. Identifying up-sell opportunities and providing available service options.
6. Communication of potential delays or change in scope in the requirement to the delivery team and escalating issues to management as appropriate
7. Analyze the current state of Services Quoting Tools/process and communicate any additional enhancements that may be necessary.
