2. Strong in at least 1 programming language C/C++/JAVA/C#
3. Hands on experience in programming (as part of a project) will be an added advantage
4. Participation in some coding competitions will be an added advantage
5. Any technical certification will be a plus
6. Sound computer science fundamentals
