Role and Responsibilities
Startup Leadership Trust (www.startupleadership.com) is looking for an Assistant Manager in the
Accounting & Finance function at our South Mumbai office. This person will
Oversee processing of expenses and reimbursements for 21 chapters.
Assist Regional Controllers in financial planning and budget management functions.
Actively participate and contribute to Monthly Core Team Meetings
Work with controller to prepare annual budgets and program pricing for 21 chapters.
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and report key metrics
Prepare official annual report of actual revenues, and expenses.
Work with our CAs to file annual taxes and IT Returns
Initiate, lead or manage strategic projects.
Hire and oversee interns to leverage the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
A Bachelors of Commerce or Business is sufficient for this position.
Preferred Skills
It is a great position for someone who has strong financial skills and seeks to be a long-term Controller or CFO. You will get to interact with outstanding entrepreneurs, industry experts, and lead projects related to Finance, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Contract Negotiations, Sponsorships, learning as you go, and working on operational and strategic projects. You will also coordinate with top-tier Controllers in various regions around the world. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, strong excel skills, an interest in working on accounting systems, and an excitement about the startup community. A Bachelors of Commerce or Business is sufficient for this position with a strong interest in Finance. The work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
