Job Role Testing Engineer
JOB Discribtion:
Custom Solutions Quality Assurance (QA) Tester in this role you will be responsible for testing Custom Solutions and third party developed DNA Apps to ensure that they function as documented, and that they comply with the framework of rules for App behavior. This role may also include QA of the documentation as well as the installation and uninstallation procedures for an App. You will also produce documentation that illustrates any problem found during the QA process.
Position – Software Test Engineer / Senior Software Test Engineer
Job Description:
Create and execute test plans for changes related to features and defects
Testing DNA Apps to ensure that function as documented, and comply with the framework of rules for App behavior
Work closely with analysts and/or developers in analyzing and re-creating defects
Requirements
3 – 7 years software testing experience
Working knowledge of banking processes and operations: Deposits, Loans, Back Office, Interfaces, Reports
Understanding of Test methodologies and concepts
Experience creating testing documents – Test Plan/ Test Cases, Test Data sheet, Test Reports
Understanding of software development life cycle
Good analytical skills
Working knowledge of SQL
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort
Excellent communication skills including writing and conversation (English)
Experience with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
Nice to have
Experience with an automated testing tool, QTP or other
Experience in functional testing on large projects regarding large projects
Defect management tools TFS, etc.
Working knowledge of basic programming techniques (looping and control statements)
